STYLED & ALIGNED

Case Studies

How Hannah Timm restructured her styling business
and found the words to match her work.

Hannah Timm is a personal stylist known for helping women build wardrobes that feel polished without losing personality.

Her approach is collaborative and intuitive, guiding clients toward clothing that fits their lifestyle, their taste, and the version of themselves they are stepping into next.

The Meet-Cute

The season she Invested

Hannah and I first connected at the brand shoot for HDI alumni client Meg Milas of Pix & Co.!

From there, we grabbed coffee, and she quickly became The One to help me source looks and style 4 models on the set of Wild Botanical's rebrand, which was a wardrobe feat!

We kept in touch, and after attending my fall 2025 Work Out Loud mastermind, the timing was right for Hannah to start thinking about a winter rebrand.

Like most creatives, Hannah had a million ideas, an expanding signature service, and fresh offers that were ready to be formally introduced to the world. She was consistently creating beautiful results for her clients, but when it came to the future of her business, everything still lived a little too much in her head.

New ideas were forming, and her pricing was ready to shift. She had a strong sense that her brand needed to evolve, and knew she needed both structure and language to support that next version of her business.

Without those elements, it’s impossible to confidently raise prices, refine your offers, or market yourself in a way that attracts the right people.

So instead of trying to figure it all out alone, Hannah chose to work it out loud! That meant bringing her ideas, instincts, and questions out of her head to build the next version of her business in real time…my favorite activity!!!

“I had so many ideas in my business, but no real structure for who I was talking to or how to say it.”

"I realized that I needed help organizing my ideas and shaping them into something cohesive, and I knew Heather was the right person to do that with me before moving forward."

Our vision building vip day

Hannah came into my home studio with ideas, instincts, and a very strong creative perspective. She already knew a lot about the kind of styling experience she wanted to create.

Our VIP day gave her the space to organize it all, and translate those instincts into a clear plan she could rebrand her business around.

We spent the day on 3 main areas:

We started by defining the core vision she had for the future of Hannah Timm Styling, and crafted her North Star statement: The guiding light that everything else in the business points back to.

Hannah’s North Star Statement:

Hannah Timm is a transformational stylist helping women express their evolved identity through intentional, collaborative, and creatively guided personal style. She blends deep self-discovery with artistic styling to build original wardrobes that express who you are now.

“Clarity in your vision makes every other decision easier.”

We zoomed in on who this work is truly for, and named the real women Hannah wants to work with:

  • Women whose lives have evolved but whose wardrobe has not caught up yet
  • Women with creative inner lives who want their appearance to reflect that depth
  • Clients who value collaboration and show up curious, open, and ready to experiment

Her signature offer became Styled & Aligned: A three month styling container where Hannah guides clients through a deeper process of style discovery and wardrobe building.

We also mapped additional offers that support different entry points into her world, including photoshoot styling for creative entrepreneurs and team styling for salons, spas, and businesses that want their staff’s appearance to reflect the aesthetic of their brand.

We then explored ways to build a natural client journey around her work.

Together, we mapped the structure and pricing for each offer and built a plan to reach Hannah’s 2026 revenue goal. We broke that down into quarterly milestones and realistic booking targets. By the end of the day, she could see exactly how the numbers connect to the work she loves doing, without burning out or taking on work that doesn’t truly fit her vision.

When your vision, offers, and pricing are aligned, marketing becomes (so) much easier! You are no longer guessing what to say or who you are speaking to.

WEBSITE COPYWRITING

Once the strategy for your vision is clear, the next question becomes how to actually say it.

After our VIP Day, Hannah hired me to write the copy for her new website, which is something that happens often!

“I finally have the words to match what I’ve been doing intuitively.”

Writing about your own work is weirdly difficult. Even people who enjoy writing get stuck when the subject is themselves.

Hannah had tried writing her own website before and quickly realized it was a different kind of challenge. She didn’t want to wrestle with it alone while also relaunching her brand.

But just like you wouldn’t take your own brand photos, you are allowed to delegate your website copy to a copywriter! Because we had already spent a full day mapping her vision together, I knew exactly how to translate her vision.

Her current site explained her services, but it didn’t yet capture the experience of working with Hannah;

The depth of her styling process, the collaborative nature of her work, and the transformation her clients go through weren’t fully coming through.

We also needed to add the new services we developed during her VIP Day, and give her About page the glow up it deserved.
Cue HDI alumni client Mackenzie, owner of Sight Creative Co.! She was hired to build an entirely new website for Hannah!

One of the most exciting additions to her site was Style Stories, Hannah’s vision for showcasing the real journey her clients go through. These case studies will walk potential clients through the before, during, and after of working with her, showing exactly how someone’s wardrobe (and life!) evolve through her process.

Now her site not only looks incredible, it reads like a conversation with the exact women she wants to style.

REFLECTIONS

One of my favorite parts of this story happened after the website was finished, but right before Hannah hit publish. She was contacted by WHIRL Magazine for a feature and needed to submit a bio! Instead of scrambling to write something quickly, she already had it. She sent over the bio we created together.

She’s also reused that same language in emails, service menus, and social media. Her copy became a toolkit she could pull from anytime she needed to describe her work.

This is something copywriting clients often don’t expect…But when the language is clear, it becomes the backbone of your entire brand.

One week after launching her vision, Hannah got her first inquiry on her new website!
